Welcome to KnoxvilleChineseCulture.org, a portal website promoting Chinese culture in Knoxville and East Tennessee.

Please visit our page on the Chinese New Year Festival, a large celebration held yearly in February during the Chinese New Year. This show brings together all the major Chinese Organizations in Knoxville and surrounding areas for an evening of singing, dance, martial arts, and other performances to celebrate the coming of Spring!

Our 2016 show -- the Year of the Monkey -- was held on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 from 3:30 - 5:30 pm in the Alumni Memorial Building on the University of Tennessee Campus. We put on a very special show this year, with Special guest Prof. Linghui Tu (shown in the photos above) from the National Academy of Chinese Theater Arts and the Confucius Institute of Chinese Opera. She performed many acts of music, dancing, singing, and more for us. We also featured acts by many talented local performers in our wonderful variety show.

Please visit our Festival page for more information on the show !

Our area is also home to numerous Chinese Organizations, including:
